Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated January 2025

Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using the FlightStratix platform and related services. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any breach, without prior notice and without liability to you.

1. General Conduct

You must use the Service lawfully, responsibly, and in accordance with these rules. You are responsible for ensuring that all Authorised Users under your Account also comply with this policy. You accept full responsibility for any use of the Service under your Account.

2. Prohibited Activities

You must not use the Service to engage in illegal activity (including fraud, money laundering, or violations of aviation regulations); attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or any connected systems; reverse engineer or decompile the Service; upload or distribute viruses, malware, or any harmful code; impose an unreasonable load on Service infrastructure or conduct denial-of-service attacks; use bots or scrapers without our prior written consent; share login credentials outside your organisation or exceed your Authorised User limit; resell or sublicense the Service to third parties; build or benchmark a competing product; collect or harvest data from the Service for any unauthorised purpose; impersonate FlightStratix or any other person or entity; upload defamatory, offensive, or objectionable content; infringe any third-party intellectual property rights; or violate any applicable export control laws or sanctions.

3. Aviation Safety Obligations

Given the safety-critical nature of aviation, you must not rely solely on the Service for any safety-critical operational decision -- it is a decision-support tool and must not substitute for qualified professional judgment, regulatory compliance, or certified aviation systems. You must independently verify all data, calculations, flight plans, maintenance records, crew scheduling outputs, and other information generated by the Service before acting on them. Your use of the Service must comply at all times with applicable aviation regulations, including those of the relevant national aviation authority (e.g. CAA, FAA, EASA). You must immediately report to us any errors, inaccuracies, or unexpected behaviour in the Service that could affect aviation safety.

4. Your Content

You are solely responsible for all data and content you upload or input into the Service. You represent and warrant that your content does not violate any law or any third-party rights. We may remove any content that violates this policy without notice.

5. Security Responsibilities

You must keep your login credentials secure and confidential, use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication where available, notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your Account, and not circumvent or disable any security features of the Service.

6. Consequences of Breach

If we determine that you have breached this policy, we may immediately suspend or terminate your access to the Service, remove or disable any content that violates this policy, report your activities to law enforcement or regulatory authorities, and take legal action against you for any losses or costs we incur as a result of your breach. A breach of this policy is also a breach of our Terms and Conditions.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any use of the Service that violates this policy, please report it to us immediately. We take all reports seriously and will investigate.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service with at least thirty (30) days notice. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
